Project notes

This visualiser develops the ceiling-mounted artwork for the MOOD shopping centre entrance at Norrlandsgatan 14. The full entrance model and figure paths come from the supplied project. The dark finish, custom eye mounts, and separate services are the new construction concept.

To resolve with the project team

  • Verify site scale: the model soffit is 6.90 m above its column bases; the earlier artwork brief says approximately 9 × 5 m.
  • Client-selected dark semi-gloss panel system, joints, thickness, access, and supporting structure.
  • Loop material, fixing/backing, spacing, silicone profile, threading and bend radius.
  • Locate incoming building supply and accessible, ventilated service positions.
  • 12 V white LEDs / coloured silicone. Confirm W/m, profile, feed intervals, Mean Well models and protection.
  • Prototype the isolated conductive hand and touch sensing outdoors.

Surface textures: paving, asphalt and surface grain from Poly Haven (CC0). Surrounding street centrelines, building footprints and tagged levels come from OpenStreetMap (ODbL); registration to the entrance is approximate. Facade details, untagged heights and street-lamp positions are contextual. The scale figures reuse the original generated Alpu cutouts and can be hidden in Settings. Street furniture and interior fittings are contextual additions; the entrance glazing comes from the original model. The survey defines the panel perimeter; proposed joints use 1 × 2 m fields and eight 1 × 1 m access panels. The electrical routes explain topology; they are not a cable-sizing or installation drawing. Rendered light and reflections are an artistic preview, not a photometric calculation.

Power & signal

Circuits

C01 Pharos LPC 1 runs editable Designer 2 / Lua sequences for nine independently controlled groups. DMX512-A channels 001–009 feed C02, a 0–10 V interface, with a dedicated DIM pair to each Mean Well PWM-output driver. C03 provides cabinet auxiliary power. C04, the local capacitive sensor, signals touch / release through LPC input 1. Code sets each figure’s intensity, fades and sequence timing; the driver generates PWM. One driver per figure or ring is the starting layout; alternative two-driver layouts share a brightness command and retain separate LED sections.

Lengths are calculated from the displayed curves. The preview uses feed points at intervals of up to 5 m for explanation; the supplier must define the actual run and injection limits. LED-driver ratings/models, sensor selection, interface compatibility, cable sizing, protection, cabinet environment and service access remain to be verified. Equipment IDs match the V2 BOM. The viewer illustrates the arrangement; no Pharos programme is uploaded.
